No idea how many people are still active or read these but I have to commit.
So obviously since summer I have not updated S.E. My plan was to continue drawing it during school last semester but as you can tell, things did no go as plan. Other than having no time (and getting sucked back into the league of legends hole), I pretty much felt like I was taken as one of the less serious artists there. SCAD is a pretty high tier art school that I got lucky to get in already and deserving about all the art students there are too. Most of my classmates in my major already have been and done conventions, entered contests, or started planning series for publication, and I mean hard core publications. Pretty much the pressure is on and I can't be the 2nd/3rd year student who's like "I do pokemon fancomics, lol", so I am offically deciding that I'm going to put Systematical Error Nuzlocke on infinite hiatus. I still love the characters and broken ass story but I can't work on it at them moment with the time I have and the things I need to do ;;v;;
I understand if you unfollow me because you mainly watch me for my nuzlocke. I will make attempts on working on my nuz but it's extreamly unlikely. At the moment I am working on several projects such as a League of Legends fanzine manager, writing and drawing my original comic (I have most of the first arc sorted out now), and portfolio stuff.
In other news I'm gonna try to be active on my twitter once school starts, posting SOMETHING daily @bekkomiwastaken. I'm still mostly active on my tumblr bekkodraws and need to repost a lot of art works onto here.
I drew a wallpaper for the fangame Pokemon Reborn here too!: www.rebornevo.com/index.php?/p…
The NuzlockeVNcollab completed the game. Go check it out and get a digital bae.
Now off to finishing some commission samples and suffering quietly in school again ;;v;;

IF:
Wow, I haven't been on here for a while. Sorry to annoy you guys but I'm happy to announce a League of Legends Charity Fanzine is being created by my friend arisuchansenpai and I. We're calling it Legends of the Rift and it will contain fanart, short drabbels and comics, possible collaborations and interviews. There will be goodies for pre-orders, such as stickers, small posters, and so on as well. All profit will be going to one of the charities Riot is donating with the Championship Ashe skin:
BasicNeeds or The Raspberry Pi Foundation
Zine's Tumblr | Bekkomi's Tumblr | AliceSenpai's Tumblr |
F.A.Q | About Us | Guidelines | Application
We are looking for:
Artists:
Illustration: Must be finished artworks, and have a background of some sort, abstract or not. Not limited to one character, can be group pictures, collabs, and character portaits. Splash pages must be discussed with us later.
Comics/4-komas: 4-komas are limited to 2 strips on one page, Comics are 2 pages, either like Varus' teaser or the Academy comics
Goodies: Bookmarks, stickers, and etc.
Writers: The fic must be 500-800 words.
What is this fanzine for?
This fanzine is to spread more positivity and inspiration to the League of Legends community, all the while donating the profits to one of the charities RitoGames will be donating to: BasicNeeds or The Raspberry Pi Foundation.
Will the zine be a digital or physical copy?
At the moment, we have decided on physical copies. The possibility of doing a digital copy is up in the air, but that decision will be announced later on.
Are contributors paid for participating in the zine?
Sadly, no, as all the funds will go into printing the zine/goodies and the charity.
However, contributors will receive a free physical copy of the zine along with extra goodies for their hard work and effort.
What will the zine have?
The zine will have artworks ranging from comics to illustrations and written stories. There may be possible collaborations and interviews from youtubers/streamers, Rioters, and/or popular artists in the LoL community. As for goodies, we have yet to decide what will be part of the bundle options. That is to be announced soon.
How many content creators will you be accepting for this zine?
Currently, we are looking to have 15 to 25 people on board for this zine. If we have more qualifying applications than expected, we may increase the cap.
Is the zine SFW?
Absolutely. We want this zine to be for the general audience of League of Legends to enjoy.
How big will the zine be?
The zine will be 5.5" x 8.5", roughly about A5 paper size. We require the artists to work with a 6" x 9" canvas size to allow for that ½" inch bleed just in case something gets trimmed in the printing process.
Will there be ships included?
Any ships that may be included in the zine are required for the romance/intimacy to be light. Nothing like making out or sticking their hand up or down someone’s clothing. Minimal and light, please. (Rakan and Xayah are exceptions, but again, please keep the romance/intimacy light.)
Should I submit League-related works as samples?
That is the most preferred, as that is the easiest to determine your skill in writing or drawing League champions. If you have none you can use, feel free to submit your best artworks.
For writers, we recommend sending us links or a document of a League of Legends story to see how you handle characterization.
Help! I can do traditional art the best!
As long as you can give us high quality scans of your work, that’s more than enough!
What are we not allowed to draw or write?
Here’s a list
- Non-canon AUs (ex. Justicar Jhin or Mafia Sona)
- Gijinkas/Humanization of non-humans such as Kha'Zix or Rengar.
- No crossovers with other fandoms
- Anything that depicts racism, sexism, homophobia, incest, and/or pedophilia.
- NSFW material (obviously), including gore, dubcon/noncon, and etc.
- I swear, if I catch anyone doing the last two above this sentence, I will gladly send you a big ol’ fuck you and a permanent ban/block.
Application-Related Questions
Why am I limited to one option of artist or writer?
We originally had the option of being both an artist and writer, but we felt it would be unfair to others who were either an artist or writer.
What if I don’t have Discord?
Unfortunately, Discord is what we will be using to communicate to our team of artists and writers. We highly recommend getting Discord so you can get all updates, schedules, and news related to the zine.
If I want to involve a ship in my work, will that affect my chances of being accepted?
Not at all! We just want to know if you will be involving a ship so that we can make sure you’re keeping the romance light instead of something like hardcore making out scenes.
Why do we have to choose Top 3 champions in order?
This is to help us categorize your priority of champions you want to draw. We wouldn’t want to have 5-6 artists and writers making content about Ahri or the Star Guardians and have other champions be skimped out on.
If you are accepted but your #1 champion(s) is taken, we will have to bump you down to your #2 champion(s).
What do you mean by “concept of your work”?
We just want you to write down a simple idea/concept you have that you want to draw for your choice of champions.
For example, let’s say my priority of champions are as below:
- Sona
- Rakan/Xayah
- Xerath + Azir
For concepts, I would list it as such:
- Heartseeker Sona with birds
- Rakan/Xayah fighting together
- Xerath looking down at Azir as he Ascends
What if I can’t think of a concept yet?
Then we recommend thinking of concepts before you write your application. You do have until November 19 to fill it out. We have also allowed applicants to edit their application after submission, just in case someone changes their mind on a concept or champion priority list.
What if I don’t have a collaboration partner, but I would like to collaborate with someone if I am accepted?
Then fill out the application as if you’re doing it solo and write in the collaboration box that you would like to do a collaboration with an artist. We are not doing writer + writer collaborations, only artist + artist and artist + writer collabs.
